Malaysian Detour - New Year, New Chapter
My time at home will come to an end in less than 48 hours. My work permit has been approved and I can safely step onto German soil. For personal reasons, I wish I didn't have to go so soon, but what must be done, must be done.
I will fly back to Perth tomorrow to collect my visa, then I will be on the first available flight to Frankfurt after the new year. I hope 2010 will be a better year for all of us who have struggled (but survived) and that it will be a year of health, good experience, joy and lots of fun. I would like to take this opportunity to say good f**king riddance, 2009.
