Counting Down

Days till I leave: 26 (Aaaaarrrgghhh!)

I dawned on me over the weekend that I have less than a month before I leave on a 171 day trip to Europe. I have a plan, but it will probably change a lot while I am there. Here is a little summary:

December:

- Arrive in London

- Go to Zurich on the 6th and return on the 10th for the Zurich Junior Ballet auditions

- Do classes at The Place and Pineapple Studios

- Class with Rambert Dance Company and Akram Khan

- Head to Leeds for Northern Ballet Theatre and Phoenix Dance Company

- Head to Paris at the end of the month

January:

- Do a class with Pina Bausch

- Head to Amsterdam (Dutch National Ballet?), then Den Haag

- Do a secondment with Nederlands Dans Theater II

- Go to Rotterdam and Arnhem to spend some time with Introdans and Scapino Ballet

- Back to Den Haag for NDT II audition

- Head to Mannheim, Germany

Febuary:

- Stay with my friend Nyo Nyo in Mannheim, and spend a couple of days with Mannheim Ballet

- Head to Wiesbaden for Ballett Wiesbaden

- Head to Essen for Aalto-Essen Ballet Theatre

- Head to Avignon, France for the Hivernales Dance Festival

March:

- Head to Lyon for Lyon Opera Ballet

- Head to Geneva for Grand Theatre du Geneva

- Head to Lausanne for Bejart Ballet

- Head to Nottingham for New English Contemporary Ballet

- Back to London for a rest

April:

- Head to Madrid for Compania Nacional de Danza Espanol.

That's all I have for now, but I think it's a good start and things will fall into place if it's meant to be. It always does :) I'm really excited but I need to organise myself before I leave in 26 days!!!
